1. Start with walking more- 30min a day is a great goal. But start where you can! 2. Add resistance training (body weight or with dumbbells/barbells/machines/bands, etc): 2-3 days per week. Choose 8-10 exercises involving all major muscle groups. Do 10-12 repetitions of each exercise for 2-3 sets. Gradually increase the intensity-lift heavier, do more sets, add more exercises, do super sets, change your tempo, try more complicated or compounded exercises.
