May 3, 2021 · My telegram account has been in updating status for the past 2 days. I have tried resintalling, restarting the phone, trying it on my desktop app, trying it on various different networks but to no avail. I have another phone number and switching to that account within the app doesn't seem to have any issue.

I started Telegram with it in Jan 2018 but once the regular monthly updates and Android overhaul came with Telegram v5 in December 2018 it slowly crushed all others. It's taking up the top part of my screen on mobile, and when I swipe down to access archived chats, it throws stories up first now. Jan 16, 2024 · Telegram won’t open messages. Hi all! I’ve reset my phone multiple times, up to date on updates, connected to internet. I can open the app, scroll down to see different conversations, slide to settings, and to the left as well, but I cannot open any messages. When I tap on a name it freezes and won’t register any movement beyond it.
