Mar 17, 2023 · Sophos earned the reputation from v15 to v18. The product was the literal butt of jokes on release. Wasn't production stable until maybe v18. It's perhaps OK now on v19, but Sophos earned the hate. The main thing is instead of focusing on core reliability and basic stuff, they kept piling on fringe features.

I love the concept of both but I’m conscious of the 4 core/6GB ram limit on the Sophos. I much prefer the fully included WAF/DPI vs the kneecapped “free” Zenarmor which offers the alternative for OPNSense. Sophos seems to have more features as a NGF than OPNsense, but I’m worried I’ll loose performance due to the limits.

May 19, 2023 · Stop the Sophos System Protection Service. This will flush a telem file to disk. Start it up again and leave it while the issue occurs, leave it for say 5 mins. Stop the service. This will flush a new telem file under: C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Endpoint Defense\Data\LuaTelemetry

In the Web Control policy, go to Settings. In the Acceptable Web Usage section, drop down and select Let Me Specify. (This will allow you to customize the policy based on your goal.)

Feb 17, 2022 · It installs itself into every nook and cranny on Mac systems. Uninstalling it leaves behind so many remnants that I had to disable SIP. in order to delete system extensions left behind. There are far better, more elegant solutions than Sophos.

Its not a network issue as i have uninstalled the Sophos agent and the game worked as expected. Also Sophos doesn’t detect the game within dashboard What else can i do to make the game work with sophos?

If this does not work, Sophos Zap may be the only option.
