French Togoland (French: Togo français) was a French colonial League of Nations mandate from 1916 to 1946, and a UN trust territory from 1946 to 1960 in French West Africa. In 1960 it became the independent Togolese Republic.

Jean Noutary was appointed as Commissioner of French Togoland on December 13, 1946. France had administered part of the former German protectorates in West Central Africa under League of Nations (LON) mandate since May 6, 1919.

During World War I, French and British troops invaded the German colony of Togoland as part of the Togoland campaign.
