Dec 6, 2024 · Today the City of Champaign announced the appointment of Nancy L. Rabel to serve as the City’s next Deputy City Manager starting December 16, 2024. Rabel has more than 25 years of combined municipal administration and extensive experience serving as an attorney for both public and private entities.

Nov 10, 2024 · Champaign Police were dispatched at 4:09 a.m. on November 10, 2024, to the 1200 block of Harrington Drive for the report of a home invasion with gunfire. On-scene, officers located two injured men and immediately began to administer emergency aid with assistance from the Champaign Fire Department.

Jan 28, 2025 · The City of Champaign, University of Illinois, and City of Urbana all issue citations around the Campus area depending on where your vehicle is parked. If you do not have a citation with the City of Champaign, you are encouraged to check with the other two entities.
