Feb 8, 2021 · If you dig a little deeper on T-Mobile’s Apple Watch Plans, they offer a newer $5/mo plan: 500MB of LTE, after then it’s unlimited 3G. Still offers unlimited talk and text. I opted for this since I have cellular flipped on mainly for an emergency use only, saving an extra $5 is nice. ZebraDude and JBaby.

Nov 21, 2023. #2. Nothing I've seen, but I do know that downloading songs over wifi put a big beating on my Ultra battery, and wifi is more efficient for transferring data than cellular. I'm sure the Ultra has the horsepower to do it but it seems like the battery would be exhausted pretty quickly if Apple allows that function.

Realize the watch is largely an extension of the phone with which it is paired. 2 - that's dependent on the contract with your carrier. I don't buy a watch on contract, and I sure wouldn't buy one on a four year one.
