UNC Health is set to expand the Abridge AI implementation across its network, aiming to enhance the experience of patients and clinicians. This strategic move follows a pilot assessment involving 100 clinicians, which led to the selection of Abridge as the solution for ambient AI-powered documentation.

UNC Health, one of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare systems in the southeast, is expanding the use of Abridge AI across its network of thousands of clinicians to improve the patient and clinician experience.

UNC Health and D uke Health are partnering to build North Carolina’s first standalone children's hospital by the early 2 030 s, according to a press release from UNC Health.

The facility, called “N.C. Children’s,” was characterized as a “decade-long goal” for both institutions and is expected to lessen the strain on other regional facilities amid increased demand for care.
