Despite announcing their retirement from both T20Is and Test cricket, Indian cricket stalwarts Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will continue to hold their Grade A+ central contracts, confirmed Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Devajit Saikia on Wednesday.

Star Indian batting duo Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are all set to retain their A-plus category contracts despite their recent retirement from Test format.

Following their Test retirements, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are set to concentrate on ODIs, aiming for the 2027 World Cup. India has scheduled 27 ODIs across nine series to prepare, offering the veterans ample opportunity.
