Israel said it carried out Saturday’s raid on Al Jazeera’s bureau in the West Bank after concluding that the news network’s offices there were “being used to incite terror.”

Israel and Hezbollah accelerated their cross-border attacks overnight into Sunday with their leaders exchanging saber-rattling threats in a rapidly deteriorating situation that has the adversaries as close to full-out war as they have been in their nearly yearlong conflict.

The death toll from a "targeted attack" by the Israeli military on a Beirut suburb Friday rose to 37, including seven women and three children, Lebanon's health minister said on Saturday, as Israel and the militant group Hezbollah continued to trade strikes. The U.S. also urged Americans in Lebanon to leave the country.
