Major League Soccer revealed its roster of the 29 players available for selection in the All-Star Game on Wednesday in Austin, Texas. Inter Miami superstar Lionel Messi and teammate Jordi Alba are not on the list,

Fans are expecting to see Argentina legend Lionel Messi take the pitch at TQL Stadium for only the second time since he joined Inter Miami in July, 2023. The first time came in the semifinals of the U.S. Open Cup, when Miami eliminated Cincinnati in penalty kicks following a 3-3 draw.

Messi and Alba were Inter Miami’s All-Star selections, but per MLS, they will not take part in the game set to be played on Wednesday in Austin, Texas.
