The entire NBA community gathered this month in Las Vegas to network, make transactions and watch the league's newest rookies.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Bronny James will play in their fifth Las Vegas NBA Summer League game on Friday night against the Denver Nuggets. The former USC Trojans guard is coming off a summer league scoring high on Thursday.

Bronny James did not play Friday night in the Los Angeles Lakers ' NBA Summer League game against the Denver Nuggets. James, a second-round pick in 2024, was seen on the court pregame wearing sweats and a hoodie. Teammate Dalton Knecht, the Lakers' first-round pick in 2024, was also out.

The number of rooks spotlighted for each team will vary. Every first-round pick who suited up will receive a grade. Second-rounders will be prioritized for teams without a top-30 selection. For squads without any drafted rookies whatsoever, we'll default to the newbie who is either most intriguing, played the most or both.

The Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, 81-76, at the NBA 2K26 Summer League at Thomas & Mack Center on Thursday.

He also left Evanston as the program's all-time leading scorer and with the ability to never buy a drink again in his college town.

League will feature six consolation bracket games today. None of the teams playing won more than two games in Las Vegas, so they will be playing in the loser’s bracket to conclude the Summer League in Las Vegas.
