Clemson has dismissed former four-star freshman player Marquise Henderson from the football program, a team spokesman has said. Henderson was a limited participant during spring football practice after enrolling early at school.

Henderson is the first Clemson player to be dismissed from the program since linebacker TJ Dudley in summer 2023. Dudley is now playing at Ole Miss. Henderson enrolled early at Clemson in January after a prolific career at Belton-Honea Path, an in-state school about 45 minutes from campus in Anderson County.

Marquise Henderson committed to Clemson football on Dec. 11, 2023. He was dismissed before playing a snap with the team.
