Donald Trump has joined the growing clamor for Joe Biden‘s White House doctor to be investigated for giving the former president a clean bill of health months before he revealed he had an aggressive form of prostate cancer.

After a stretch of limited public appearances since leaving office, former President Joe Biden’s cancer diagnosis arrived amid heightened scrutiny of his cognitive health.

On May 18, former President Joe Biden’s staff announced he has an aggressive form of prostate cancer. In response, several social media users began circulating a three-year-old video clip of Biden as evidence that he knew about his diagnosis years before.

President Donald Trump strongly suggested that Joe Biden hid his prostate cancer diagnosis from the American people when opining on the news, adding that the alleged omission is worthy of investigation. “It’s a very, very sad situation. I feel very badly about it. And I think people should try and find out what happened,” Trump said Monday.

Biden, even after he has exited political life and as he faces a serious cancer diagnosis, remains a factor in the conversation about his party's political future.

Ezekiel Emanuel, a prominent Democratic figure, told “Morning Joe” the former president "did not develop [prostate cancer] in the last 100 to 200 days."

One usual method would be to do a PSA test. Alternatively, he could have a new urine test that looks for genetic signals of cancer. Doctors could examine Mr. Biden’s prostate with an MRI, or ultrasound. “Ultimately, if they think this nodule is prostate cancer, the final step would be a biopsy,” Dr. Moul said.
