Dedan Thomas Jr. made a layup and a 12-foot fadeaway jumper to cap a closing seven-point run by UNLV, which defeated No. 22 Utah State 65-62.

UNLV took on the number 22 ranked team in the country, Utah State last night as five point underdogs. It was the biggest game of the season for UNLV. They had home court advantage and they took full advantage of that.
