The design for Stony Creek Elementary School is focused on preventing flooding like the disaster that shut down Antietam's former high school in 2023.

On Wednesday, however, the downtown landmark was filling with toys as part of a drive organized by City Centre Decatur for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign.
