Prescott: World's Oldest Rodeo, fireworks and a parade The World’s Oldest Rodeo in Prescott is a weeklong event, kicking off on June 28 and continuing through July 4 at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds.

One highlight of the week is the annual rodeo parade, this year themed “Prescott Traditions.” It is slated to take place on July 6 starting at 9 a.m. in downtown Prescott.

Cowboys and cowgirls from around the country converge in Prescott Thursday for the 125th annual “World’s Oldest Rodeo,” a popular weekend event that regularly draws more than 30,000 spectators.
