Mac Miller's estate has finally gifted fans with Balloonerism, a posthumous album that has been the subject of speculation for years. Released on Jan. 17, the album arrives days ahead with what would have been Miller's 33rd birthday.

Mac Miller's family is releasing another posthumous album five years after "Circles" came out. "Balloonerism" will be accompanied by a short film.

“Balloonerism” was shelved around 2014 in favor of the album “Watching Movies With the Sound Off” and the mixtape “Faces.” To my ear, it's closer to “Faces” but rawer and less intense. Even so, just having Miller back in our ears is a reason to celebrate.
