Giant Eagle is shifting its approach to shopping bags once again. The grocery chain is replacing its fabric reusable bags with new single-use plastic bags made from 75% recycled material.

Giant Eagle stated that, when combined with their existing storefront single-use plastic bag recycling program, the new bags will help reduce nearly four million pounds of plastic.
