The British and Irish Lions will play three Tests during their tour of Australia this summer. The Lions will play a warm-up match against Argentina in Dublin on 20 June before leaving for Australia the following day. Head coach Andy Farrell's side will play six tour matches as well as three Test matches on 19 July, 26 July and 2 August.

DUBLIN -- This was hardly the send off the British & Irish Lions envisaged. As they tested out new-look combinations after a fortnight or so together, uncharacteristic errors against an energetic Argentina team saw them lose 28-24 to the Pumas in Dublin on Friday evening.

The British and Irish Lions have not toured Australia for more than a decade. The Lions have a rich history and there is a prestige behind being chosen as one of the best players from England, Wales, Scotland or Ireland. The team tours every four years and last came to Australia in 2013.
