A 20-foot tall tree nicknamed "tree-mendous" will be harvested on Nov. 20 from Cartner's Christmas Tree Farm in Avery County to be installed in the blue room of the White House.

After winning the 2024 National Christmas Tree contest, Cartner's Christmas Tree Farm was bestowed the right to provide the White House tree in 2024.
