One year after having to replace every scholarship player on the Arkansas basketball roster, the Razorbacks are projected to enter the 2025-26 college basketball season with a solid core in place and a top-notch recruiting class.

FAYETTEVILLE — The NCAA transfer portal is in full swing for men’s college basketball, and Arkansas is expected to continue to be active in recruiting. The Razorbacks, coming off a Sweet 16 appearance in coach John Calipari’s debut season, are looking to build on the success in Year 1.

John Calipari is not approaching his second season at Arkansas the same way he approached his first. With 10 players now committed to the Razorbacks’ roster as of Wednesday, the Hall of Fame coach appears to be learning from the limitations of last year’s squad, one that lacked the depth needed to navigate the demands of a full SEC season.
