The Sepang Test sees Ducati edge out Yamaha as the first three days of action conclude in 2025

Alex Marquez led the way on the third and final day of the Sepang MotoGP test, as Ducati riders occupied four of the top five spots in the classification. Riding last year’s GP24, Gresini’s Marquez set a best time of 1m56.

Alex Marquez emerged the fastest rider at the MotoGP pre-season testing in Malaysia as the Spaniard topped the timesheets with 1min 56.493sec, leading a slew of riders who dipped under the 1min 57sec mark.

Gresini Ducati rider Alex Marquez topped the final day of the Sepang MotoGP pre-season test, narrowly beating factory stablemate Francesco Bagnaia. The opening portion of the last day was dedicated to time attack runs, with a frantic qualifying sim phase seeing top spot change hands a number of times.
