Tremonton • Northern Utah law enforcement leaders said more people would have died in Sunday night’s shooting in Tremonton if not for the actions of two city police officers who were killed and a sheriff’s deputy who was wounded.
TREMONTON, Utah — Two police officers were killed and another injured, along with a K-9, after a suspect opened fire following what was described as a domestic disturbance Sunday night in Tremonton. The unidentified suspect is now in custody while the officer who was not killed and the K-9 are reported to be in fair condition.
