Ken Roczen moved determinedly from fourth to the lead in the first half of Round 8 of the 2025 Monster Energy Supercross season and then held off a challenge by Cooper Webb to become the sixth winner of the year at Daytona Beach, Florida, and tie the record for the most wins during a season.

Floridian R.J. Hampshire won the 250cc main and was joined on the five-man podium by Tom Vialle, Seth Hammaker, Chance Hymas and Max Vohland. Next up for AMA Supercross next weekend is Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts and this week’s host to the NFL Combine.

RJ Hampshire survived the third red flag in three Monster Energy Supercross 250 East rounds and held Tom Vialle at bay in Round 8 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. It was his first win on the track in his home state.
