The 2024-25 season saw Saint Francis reach March Madness for the first time since 1991, but the school has announced plans to drop to Division III.

Citing changes in the national landscape, and a week after a First Four loss in the NCAA tournament, Saint Francis (PA) announced a move to Division III in 2026.
