DALLAS — Nearly a week after the shocking Luka Doncic trade was announced, there still hasn't been much in the way of a "smoking gun" revealed that explains why the Mavericks shipped off their face of the franchise to the Lakers. But a few details have painted a clear picture: Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison seemed to just be over it.

“Trading away Luka Magic has left a deep void in the hearts of Dallas fans,” fundraiser organizer Jacob Posner wrote. “By banding together for this billboard campaign, we’re sending a strong, undeniable message to the Mavs front office: We refuse to be overlooked, and we deserve better decisions.”

The Dallas Mavericks remain the most polarizing team of the trade deadline, and several moves were since they dealt Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers. The trade was that groundbreaking, though.
