An immigration judge has granted bond to a Massachusetts high school student who was arrested on his way to volleyball practice over the weekend

The student, a junior whose name hasn't been released, had been in the country since he was 5 years old, a school administrator said.

Marcelo Gomes Da Silva spoke outside a Burlington ICE facility Thursday after he was released from custody. "It’s not a good spot to be," he said.
