The win broke a five-game losing streak for the girls program, as Meadow Cameron lead the way with 19 points and eight rebounds. Brooklyn Garavaglia contributed 13 points and five assists for Dakota (4-8, 1-2 MAC Red). Maddie Benard led South (4-9, 1-2 MAC Red) with 18 points.

The Iowa high school basketball season is well underway and there are plenty of games to keep an eye on, both boys and girls, happening around the state Friday night. Check out scores from many of the games across the state below.
