Cleveland Guardians All-Star José Ramírez jammed his right wrist while attempting to steal a base in the third inning against the Kansas City Royals and later left the game.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Guardians All-Star third baseman José Ramírez exited Cleveland’s game Saturday against the Royals after suffering a wrist injury. The Guardians later announced Ramírez suffered a right wrist sprain. Manager Stephen Vogt said the 32 year old is day to day and the team will reassess his condition in the morning.
Technically, Kyle Hart is a 32-year-old rookie. He made his big-league debut in 2020, but he pitched just 11 innings that year, never made it back to the majors with the Red Sox and bounced to the Phillies and then the Mariners before landing in Korea.
