In a move unheard of in Wisconsin, state lawmakers and Gov. Tony Evers passed and signed into law a new state budget in less than 24 hours.

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers signed the state’s budget into law in the early morning hours Thursday after the state Legislature passed the bill during sessions that spanned all of Wednesday with the Assembly running into early Thursday.
