Deidre Deculus Robert was hired as president and CEO of Build Baton Rouge, giving the city’s official redevelopment agency a permanent leader for the first time in more than three years.

The agency’s board of directors chose Deidre Deculus Robert as its new leader. The board said Robert “brings a wealth of leadership, legal, and community development experience” in her new role.
