Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights follows the Earnshaws and the Lintons, who are living in the Yorkshire Moors in the 1880s. Their lives change forever when the Earnshaws take in Heathcliff.

Wuthering Heights has been adapted to the screen several times before, most famously in a 1939 version starring Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon. That adaptation was nominated for Best Picture.
