Some good news from the Ukrainian video game industry: After losing 200 employees from 2021 to 2023, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl developer GSC Game World is slowly starting to rebuild.

Via ITC, the Stalker 2 developer has hired more than 50 developers in the last few months. By the time of the title’s Gamescom showing in August 2024, the studio had a total of 220 developers.
