FLORIDA — On Monday, April 8, skywatchers got to witness a rare celestial delight and something that will not be seen again over North American skies for more than 20 years: A total solar eclipse.
Hurd calls the 2024 eclipse the "Great Divider" because of the divide between major cities in the path of totality of the eclipse and cities just outside the path.
Set sail on an extraordinary journey aboard the Douglas Mawson, a state-of-the-art expedition ship, to witness the longest total solar eclipse left this century which takes place on 2 August 2027.
