PHILADELPHIA — Flyers defenseman Nick Seeler put his head down like a linebacker about to make a vicious tackle when he leveled Devils forward Nathan Bastian on Monday night.

Bobby Brink, Joel Farabee and Garnet Hathaway scored to help the Philadelphia Flyers build a three-goal lead and they held on to beat the New Jersey Devils 4-2 on Monday night.

PHILADELPHIA—Not only were the New Jersey Devils minus their No.1 goaltender against the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday, but they were without their captain, too.

With Couturier being the Flyers' captain and one of their top players, it is certainly tough that he is unable to play against the Devils. However, on the bright side, the Flyers confirmed that fellow key forward Scott Laughton will return to the lineup.
