Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-Wis.) said Democrats are "lying" about the sweeping GOP plan to cut $1 trillion from federal health and food programs.

“We are reintroducing Clinton-era work requirements,” Rep. Nick Langworthy (R-N.Y.) said in a floor speech this week.

Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky both indicated that they would seek major changes to the bill that passed the House.
