Families with members who are celebrating their 100th birthday are being sought out for the Department of Public Health and Social Services’ annual observance of Senior Citizens Month in May.

It was a night of music, memories and mission. Nearly 500 people showed up to the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Reading for the birthday bash, just one of many celebrations planned this year.
