Nintendo has officially unveiled the Switch 2 in a super-sized 60-minute Nintendo Direct today, and has since confirmed that preorders will open on April 9 in the US, ahead of its June 5, 2025, launch. The console is priced at $449.99, with a Mario Kart World bundle also available for $499.99, while the game will retail for $79.99 standalone.
Nintendo is set to provide a closer look at its Switch 2 gaming console. The 60-minute Nintendo Direct presentation will be live-streamed at 9 a.m. EDT Wednesday.
