The final week of the South Carolina High School football playoffs is here ... will make the roughly 100 mile journey southeast to face Cross (12-2) at South Carolina State in Orangeburg.

The high school football coaching ... Both Helms and Shaw were former South Carolina Gamecock football players. Shaw was the head coach at Cross Episcopal School in Bluffton the past two seasons.
