Columbia's new disciplinary office is raising alarm among students, faculty and free speech advocates, who accuse the school of bowing to President Donald Trump's threats to slash funding to universities and deport campus “agitators.

Officials will examine whether “a pattern or practice of discrimination” against Jewish professors and staff existed on 10 California campuses.

Investigation comes on the heels of a dispute with a pro-Palestinian professor, who agreed to retire in January.
