The Hiram Police department is reminding everyone that even as we head into cooler weather, the interior of a car can get extremely hot. All the police cars now have new decals on their windshields.

ATLANTA — Atlanta police say a man was cited early Thursday morning for illegally putting parking boots on cars.

ATLANTA — It’s a statistic that jumps out due to the sheer numbers involved. The City of Atlanta Police Department said 1,795 guns have been stolen from cars since Jan 1. this year.

The cars’ new design was created by SCAD students and voted on by APD employees. Several art students who designed the decals were on hand Wednesday to catch a glimpse of the finished product.
