The district said during the 2023-24 school year, more than 9,100 citations were issued to drivers who illegally passed school buses unloading students.

An MCTS bus was involved in a chain-reaction crash in December. New video shows the impact, as well as passengers being thrown from their seats. In all, including the bus, five vehicles were involved.
