After a four-game losing streak, the Arkansas Razorbacks (9-14, 2-6 SEC) got off the schneid with a 72-51 win over Texas A&M (10-10, 3-5 SEC) inside Bud Walton Arena.

The No. 13 Gymbacks will have their first-ever conference competition with Oklahoma this week, and it comes as the Sooners are ranked the top team in the nation.

A field of 13 teams, seven ranked in the top 25 nationally, are scheduled to compete in the Razorback Invitational on Friday and Saturday inside Randal Tyson Track Center.

The Razorbacks lost their freshman phenom Boogie Fland for the season, which is a massive blow as he was the team's best offensive weapon. Fland was committed to Kentucky before Coach Calipari made the move to Arkansas.

Arkansas senior first baseman Bri Ellis and junior utility player Kailey Wyckoff were voted to the 24-player preseason All-SEC team. Texas and Florida had five players on the list, and LSU, Oklahoma and Texas A&M each had three.
