North Dakota State’s women’s basketball team earned a big win over South Dakota yesterday in Vermillion, taking down the Coyotes 72-53. The Bison were led by Abbie Draper, who dropped 29 points and hit 12-of-16 shots from the field. The senior forward also snatched a team high 12 rebounds.

VERMILLION, S.D. -- — Chase Forte had 18 points in South Dakota's 92-82 win against Oral Roberts on Thursday night. Forte had six assists and three steals for the Coyotes (11-8, 2-2 Summit League).

The Jacks are 16-3 this year, with impressive wins over Creighton, Wisconsin and Oregon, and losses to Duke, Texas and Georgia Tech. They've won six in a row but have been tested by a few Summit League foes already. They had to rally for an 83-76 road win at St. Thomas on Wednesday.
