DALLAS — The eastbound lanes of-635 at McCree Road in Dallas County were shut down Wednesday because of a crash involving an 18 wheeler, officials say. Garland police say an 18-wheeler lost control for an unknown reason shortly after 10 a.m. and hit two vehicles and a barrier. No major injuries were reported.
Starting at 9 p.m., the Texas Department of Transportation will close westbound I-30, and detour drivers to the frontage road at St. Francis Avenue, weather permitting. All lanes will be closed at the I-30 interchange, and drivers should expect delays.

A crash early Tuesday in Fort Worth snarled traffic as the eastbound lanes on a portion of I-30 were closed. The crash occurred at the I-30 at East Loop 820 shortly before 6 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
All westbound lanes of I-30 will be shut down and drivers will be detoured to the frontage road at St. Francis Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20 for bridge maintenance, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
