Microsoft has begun testing a redesigned Start menu that incorporates features it's previously tested separately: a wider Start menu, and one that's been redesigned into categories and grids.

Microsoft is testing a new interface for Start Menu on Windows 11, reducing the existing clutter of randomly interspersed apps and files.
