Social gaming platform Roblox is bigger than YouTube among kids - and it's paying out a lot of money to the next generation of video game developers.

Roblox is getting cross-platform play between the Xbox One, the PC, and smartphones, starting later this week.

As a whole, Roblox is on track to pay out $30 million to its developers in 2017. That's still real-life money.

And Baszucki is announcing today that Roblox expects to pay out more than $30 million in revenue to players in 2017, compared to $5.5 million in 2016.
