Edge Canary is testing multi-tab summarization, letting Copilot scan several open tabs at once and give combined answers.

Over in Microsoft Edge, click the three dots (top right), then Settings: If you open the Start, home, and new tabs panel, you can select Open tabs from the previous session.

Microsoft Edge's tie-in with Windows multitasking settings probably helps other people's efficiency, but it slows me down. Fortunately, you can change how Alt + Tab behaves.
