GoPro kills off its Quik desktop app. GoPro is removing its Quik desktop app from the Mac App Store on December 31st, and a Windows version will no longer be released.

GoPro has launched a desktop app for its subscribers that can also sync with the cloud and mobile apps while allowing users to import footage from third-party cameras.
