There's a new robotic waitress at a seafood restaurant in the East Bay. It's been nicknamed "Rosie the Robot" at Cajun Crack'n Seafood House in Concord.

With the restaurant industry looking to technology fill the demand for service workers, a robot employee nicknamed Rosie may represent the future.

The eerily lifelike robots from Boston Dynamics may have set a high bar, but DIYers are still out there having a crack at building capable walking robots. Video after the break.
